SHIHAN - CHIEF INSTRUCTOR

  ROBERT WRIGHT  

Shihan Bob has attained the rank of godan, 5th degree black belt, in the Kyokushin style, at Kancho Henri-Oh's 2003 International Summer Institute held at East Stroudsburg University, PA.  His experience in the martial arts, includes Shotokan, Oyama, and Kyokushin.   Shihan is this area's North American Kyokushin Organization's (NAKO) Branch Chief, under the NAKO Chairman, Kancho Henrioh, and he is on the NAKO Board of Directors as the President of the Technical Committee for NAKO.

Shihan Bob began his study of Kyokushin in 1971 through a dare from his dear friend, John Lehner, a green belt at that time, at the Saizen Dojo.  Sensei Lehner, under the direction of the late Sensei Downey, awarded Shihan Bob his shodan, first degree black belt, in 1975.  Shihan Bob has trained with Kancho Henri-Oh since 1995, and attended his many summer camps, including a summer camp in Switzerland.  He is a strong supporter of Kyokushin and NAKO, known for his fast hands, quick reflexes, expert teaching, and is well respected by many martial artists worldwide.

SENSEIS - INSTRUCTORS

 ESTHER KARABON 

Started in 1985, is sandan, 3rd degree black belt in Kyokushin, and has martial arts experience in Ko Gaku Shin, Oyama, and Kyokushin styles.  She has participated in training camps in Japan receiving instruction from the masters there, and numerous NAKO international summer training camps, seminars and belt tests in New York City with Shihan Henrio.

 BRET NACCARATO 

Started in 1991, is sandan, 3rd degree black belt in Kyokushin, with martial arts experience including Ko Gaku Shin and Kyokushin.  He has participated in numerous NAKO international summer training camps, seminars and belt tests in New York City with Shihan Henrioh.

SEMPAIS - ASSISTANT INSTRUCTORS

 ROBIN JOHNSON 

Started in 1984, is nidan, 2nd degree black belt in Kyokushin, with martial arts experience including Ko Gaku Shin, Oyama and Kyokushin styles.  He has participated in numerous NAKO international summer training camps, seminars and belt tests in New York City with Shihan Henrioh.

 GLENNA TENNENT 

Sempai Glenna is shodan, 1st degree black belt in Kyokushin. (more bio to come).

Sempai Mike is shodan, 1st degree black belt in Kyokushin. (more bio to come).

 JAY KLEIN 

Sempai Jay is shodan, 1st degree black belt in Kyokushin, in 2005. (more bio to come).

Sempai Lisa is shodan, 1st degree black belt in Kyokushin, in 2005. (more bio to come).
